About this event
At the centre is Jay Gatsby, a figure shrouded in mystery and excess, but portrayed here in his most fragile dimension. Behind the luxury and celebration emerges a character trapped in a romantic idea that was never exactly real. Through twenty scenes, director and choreographer Enrique Gasa Valga transforms that universe into a dynamic and visually intense narrative.
The story unfolds through the eyes of Nick Carraway, a privileged witness to an ascent as brilliant as it is inevitably unstable. On stage, an international cast and a live band accompany the fall of the mirage to the rhythm of jazz and swing.
For 105 minutes, The Great Gatsby not only recreates an era; it also reminds us that, behind the noise and glamour, some stories still speak of desires that never find their place.
