Musical ‘Després de nosaltres’

Lena and Adrià have been separated for a year, but they do not want to become two strangers. Amid city moves, new projects, other relationships and the uncertainties of adult life, they both try to keep a promise that seems simple, although it is not: to continue caring for each other without becoming a couple again.

Music occupies a central place in this story. He composes soundtracks, she works at a prestigious festival, and the songs accompany a narrative about affections that change shape, farewells that are not final and the difficulty of finding new ways to love each other.

Written and directed by Jumon Erra, with musical composition by Miguel Tejada, this Catalan-language production opts for an intimate, close-up staging. For 90 minutes, Després de nosaltres invites us to view break-ups from another perspective, away from drama and closer to understanding, complicity and hope.
