«Criatura emocional» show
«Criatura emocional» is a theatre proposal based on the book by V (formerly Eve Ensler) which explores an uncomfortable and necessary question: what does it mean to be a girl in today's world? Across thirteen scenes combining monologues, dialogue and songs, the work traces a mosaic of experiences shaped by vulnerability and resistance.
About this event
Anorexia, unexpected pregnancy, child labour, female genital mutilation, discrimination, stereotypes and the weight of certain religious beliefs appear as realities that shape the lives of many adolescent girls in different cultural contexts. The production does not evade pain or fear, but neither does it remain within them. Beneath the harshness of the testimonies lies an invitation to intimate revolt, to recognise the transformative strength that can arise from awareness and unity.
Directed by Alicia Serrat, with musical direction by Ferran González and choreography by Pol Roselló, the work is performed by Paula Amell, Clàudia Codony, Sara Font, Núria Oliver, Laia Rodríguez and Laura Tanyà. In Catalan, with a running time of 75 minutes, it is recommended for ages 15 and over.
