Monologue ‘Cervecienta’

In this monologue, the glass slipper has given way to bunions, and the search for Prince Charming does not seem to be among the priorities either. This Cinderella works more than she cleans, has a boss capable of making any stepmother look good and prefers a Coronita to a crown. For the time being, she leaves marriage and children to other princesses.

Cervecienta plays with the clichés of children’s fairy tales to confront them with the contradictions of everyday life, romantic expectations and that eternal question in front of the wardrobe: what to wear.

The show can be seen at La Sala by Lastcrit Comedy Club in Barcelona, on different dates and at different times. It is open to all audiences and presents a Cinderella without a carriage or a perfect ending, but with plenty to tell and many reasons to laugh at her own story.
