«Caramel» show

This show, directed by sisters Ariadna and Clara Peya with text by Pablo Messiez, is presented. «Caramel» is a work that explores deeply and reflectively our relationship with various substances and how they influence our emotions and experiences.

Pablo Messiez’s text invites the audience to reflect on how we use what gives us happiness, excitement, anguish or relaxation. Through a combination of dance, theatre and music, «Caramel» presents a contemporary and poetic approach to the different ways people seek relief or pleasure in their lives.

The work not only entertains, but also prompts reflection on the emotional and physical dependence we can develop on certain substances, as well as the implications of these relationships in our daily lives. The Peya sisters’ direction, together with Messiez’s writing, allows the audience to connect with the characters’ emotions and, in turn, with their own experiences. «Caramel» thus becomes an experience of reflection that invites us to reflect and engage in dialogue about a subject so relevant in today’s society.
