Immersive show “Al cor del Liceu”

Through major pieces of the repertoire and dynamic staging, the proposal turns listening into something physical and close. Here, the chorus ceases to be accompaniment and takes centre stage, revealing the collective energy born when voices meet and move forward together.

Marc Rosich’s dramaturgy and direction create a sensory journey in which music, movement, light and space are in constant dialogue. The experience seeks something beyond performance: to bring the spectator closer to the vibration of the human voice and its capacity to move, connect and create a shared experience.

Produced by Gran Teatre del Liceu, Al cor del Liceu opens an unusual door into the world of opera and shows that sometimes the best way to hear a work is to stand right in the middle of it.
