Mamma Mia! The Musical arrives at the Teatre Tívoli de Barcelona after three seasons in Madrid and an extensive tour around Spain. The production has staged more than 1,400 performances and has attracted over a million spectators in the country.
About this event
The story takes place on a Greek island, where wedding preparations end up revealing secrets from the past. At its heart is the relationship between a mother and her daughter, joined by old flames, returning friends, and decisions that can change everyone’s plans.
The musical weaves its story around 23 songs by ABBA. Dancing Queen, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, Chiquitita, and The Winner Takes It All are part of a repertoire that is integrated into the plot and has become one of the main reasons for the show’s international popularity.
Produced in Spain by ATG Entertainment, Mamma Mia! lands in Barcelona after having brought together more than 65 million spectators worldwide.
