Puppet show «L'ombra de Pinotxo»
What happened to Pinocho after he became a real boy? L'ombra de Pinotxo imagines an answer: that little wooden boy has grown up and, when the time comes to choose a profession, decides to follow in Geppetto's footsteps and become a puppeteer.
About this event
From his workshop, and accompanied by his inseparable Grillo, Pinocho recreates the adventures that marked his childhood. The magic fairy, the Gran Tiburón, and other well-known episodes reappear among the puppets, while inventions that were transforming the world—like the electric lightbulb, the bicycle, or the cinematograph—make their way onto the stage.
The show thus plays with the classic tale from a different perspective: Pinocho is now the one pulling the strings and telling his own story. Fantasy, memory, and puppet theatre blend together in a performance designed to surprise children without forgetting the adults who accompany them.
L'ombra de Pinotxo is performed in Catalan, lasts 45 minutes, and is recommended for ages 3 and up.
