IT Dansa Show
IT Dansa, the young company of Institut del Teatre de Barcelona, returns to the stage with a programme combining professional training, contemporary creation and two very different ways of understanding movement.

The first part presents Biterna, a choreography by Aleix Martínez originally created for the opening of the Dansàneu festival. Its name refers to an imaginary place where, according to a medieval belief, witches gathered to worship the devil. This dark reference serves as the starting point for a piece conceived in a contemporary language.
The programme continues with Minus 16 by Israeli choreographer Ohad Naharin. Cha-cha-cha, mambo and popular songs from Israel accompany a choreography that constantly changes register, moving from joy to dejection and from intimate moments to collective scenes.
Under Catherine Allard’s direction, IT Dansa brings together young dancers in the process of professionalisation in an agile show that offers an approach to contemporary dance through two very different choreographic universes.
