6th Festival Sereia de Forró y Cultura Popular Brasileña

The festival is committed to intercultural dialogue, integration and artistic creation, linking two symbolic celebrations that inspire its spirit: Candelaria in the Mediterranean imagination, and the Yemanjá festival, of Afro-American origin. Through this connection, the proposal transcends music to become a shared cultural experience.

The programme opens on Friday with dance and music workshops led by specialist artists, and continues with festive evening sessions alternating DJs and live concerts. Saturday intensifies the activity with more ensembles, social spaces and performances by groups such as Diana do Sertão and Mana Flor. On Sunday, the festival expands into the public space with open activities and concerts that bring the cycle to a close.

Beyond the stage, Festival Sereia is an invitation to learn, dance and spend time together. An event that turns forró into a common language and celebrates Brazilian popular culture as a tool for connecting communities.
