Talents Jazz at La Pedrera

When evening falls over Barcelona, the rooftop of La Pedrera becomes one of the city's most distinctive stages. Talents Jazz takes place there, a series that turns Gaudí's architecture into the backdrop for a selection of concerts led by some of the most promising voices in contemporary jazz.

Every Friday, between late May and July, young musicians from institutions such as the Conservatori del Liceu, ESMUC and the Taller de Músics take turns to show new ways of understanding a genre that never stops reinventing itself. The result is a fresh, diverse programme open to experimentation.

The experience goes beyond the concert. Before the first notes begin to sound, attendees can explore the emblematic attic of Casa Milà and discover Antoni Gaudí's creative universe up close. The evening is rounded off with a glass of cava and privileged views over Barcelona's rooftops.

Talents Jazz proposes a different way of approaching live music: an encounter between emerging talent, architectural heritage and summer nights that seem made for being carried away by the rhythm.
