MUHBA summer programme at Park Güell
This summer, Park Güell becomes a privileged setting for Barcelona culture. With MUHBA, its summer programme turns afternoons into unique experiences of music, cinema and knowledge in one of the city’s most emblematic spaces, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
About this event
From violin to folk, from manouche jazz to Catalan song, the “El Park Güell, el violí i Barcelona” series offers open-air concerts in Plaça de la Natura that celebrate the city’s musical legacy. Highlights include the Juli Garreta recital with Jofre Bardolet and Marc Heredia; the lively, danceable Violinaires show; and a journey into early-20th-century jazz with the quartet of Albert Bello and Oriol Saña.
Open-air cinema arrives with «Barcelona en moviment», three screenings that explore the city through a female gaze, with works by Marta Balletbò-Coll, Laura Ferrés and Anaïs Pareto Onghena.
The programme is completed by guided tours of the park, revealing its history, architecture and links with literature, the urban setting, and the vision of Gaudí and Güell.
All activities are free with prior reservation. This summer, Park Güell beats more strongly than ever.
