International conference “Power and Care: Enactive Approaches and Critical Social Philosophy”

Over three days, the city will become a space for debate where knowledge is understood not only as analysis but also as embodied experience and collective practice.

The programme is structured around three axes — ecology and life, mind, body and affect, and political agency and social philosophy — and will combine six keynote panels with parallel sessions, posters and open formats that foster interdisciplinary dialogue. Beyond the conferences, the proposal seeks to integrate artistic languages and shared spaces for reflection, broadening the conversation on how to think about care and power in a world marked by social, political and ecological crises.

With expected participation of around 300 people, the conference aims to consolidate Barcelona as a meeting point between science, philosophy and contemporary creation. Fundamental questions will guide the exchange: what it means to live well, how power structures influence bodies, and how critical philosophies can help understand and transform current social pathologies.
