Ohlalà! Barcelona Francophone Film Festival

This year, far from disappearing, the festival adopts a more intimate and concentrated version, created in collaboration with the Institut français de Barcelona, to keep alive that annual encounter with stories and perspectives from the Francophone world.

On 27, 28 and 29 November, audiences will be able to discover five recent films not previously shown in Barcelona, selected for their ability to move, surprise or question through the narrative subtlety that characterises contemporary French cinema. It is a short programme, but one designed down to the last detail to offer a diverse panorama: new talents, established directors, stories moving between drama, comedy, introspection and the contemporary social imagination.

This special edition of Ohlalà! therefore becomes an ideal occasion to reconnect with the big screen, enjoy the distinctive rhythm of French cinema—its delicate humour, complex characters, silences as eloquent as its dialogue—and keep alive the film-loving community the festival has built over the years.

In the coming weeks, the titles and how to attend the screenings will be announced. Until then, the recommendation is simple: save the dates and prepare for three days of good cinema in its most refined and intimate form.
