“Liternatura” Nature Literature Festival

In this fifth edition, the festival revolves around the idea of escaping what is established. Not as a literal escape, but as an imaginative gesture: opening unexpected paths, crossing disciplines and seeking new ways of relating to the environment. Conversations, readings and international meetings build a space where literature mixes with ecology, philosophy and observation of the natural world.

The festival also recovers the figure of Copito de Nieve, marking sixty years since his arrival in Barcelona, to reflect on the relationship between humans and other primates. A perfect excuse to question hierarchies, revise anthropocentric perspectives and consider how much of us remains connected to the wild.

Promoted by Bibliotecas de Barcelona, Liternatura has established itself as a meeting place for those who understand writing not only as an artistic exercise, but also as a tool for rethinking how we inhabit the planet.
