Barcelona International Film and Disability Festival ‘Inclús’
The International Film and Disability Festival, known as Inclús, has the main objective of highlighting audiovisual works that address functional diversity.
About this event
Its purpose is to present a different perspective on the reality of people with disabilities. It also seeks to promote and teach audiovisual accessibility, bringing cinema closer to audiences who do not usually have access to it.
The Festival's Official Selection includes short films, feature films, documentaries and productions by organisations, all focused on functional diversity.
In addition to film screenings, the festival organises complementary activities to raise awareness of this diversity: workshops, talks, events by collaborating organisations, specialised courses in audio description and sign language, screenings for schools, demonstrations of innovative technologies related to functional diversity, and even theatre performances by inclusive companies.
