Il·luLola Festival of children's and young people's illustration
Centre Cívic Urgell celebrates the second edition of the Il·luLola Festival, an event dedicated to children's and young people's illustration. This festival features prominent artists such as Sira Lobo and offers a variety of activities designed for children and young people aged 0 to 14, including workshops, shows and exhibitions.
About this event
The aim of Il·luLola is to highlight the importance of illustration for children and young people, as well as to honour the memory of Lola Anglada, whose legacy inspires the festival's name. Anglada was recognised for her work as a children's storyteller and illustrator, and the festival seeks to perpetuate her influence through activities that foster creativity and imagination.
The activities are varied: from drawing workshops and mural-making to storytelling and interactive shows. In addition, Sira Lobo's exhibition ‘Som aquí’ will open and remain open to the public until 20 July. The festival also includes an illustrated market with the participation of art schools and bookshops, creating a meeting place for emerging artists and the general public.
