Spring Festivities in La Barceloneta

From 9 April to 31 May, La Barceloneta is transformed into an epicentre of celebration with the 14th edition of the Spring Festivities. This festival extends for more than a month and a half, offering a wide range of cultural activities that capture the vibrant essence of this emblematic maritime neighbourhood.

One of the main strands will be «Traces de la Barceloneta», a tribute to historical memory that will include activities at Casa de la Barceloneta 1761, Biblioteca La Fraternitat and the neighbourhood's Civic Centre, with the special collaboration of Amical de Mauthausen.

On 9 May, the «Vine a la Repla!» Spring Morning will be the centre of attention. From participatory workshops to games and live performances, this morning event will stand out for its community focus and its ability to bring together residents and visitors in a celebration of creativity and coexistence.

Another unmissable event will be the Barceloneta-Port Vell Gathering of Giants on 30 May. In its 33rd edition, this parade of colossal figures will travel through the streets, reviving traditions and filling the atmosphere with magic, folk music and dance.
