Espacios Ocultos Festival
The «Espacios Ocultos» festival emerges as a celebration of Barcelona’s historic heritage, specifically focused on revealing the city’s hidden richness through the theme «TEMPUS FUGIT: EXPOSICIÓN INTERNACIONAL 1929». This annual event forms part of the Semanas de Arquitectura, offering the public the opportunity to discover spaces that are normally inaccessible.
About this event
With guided visits led by specialists, the festival allows visitors to delve into gems such as the Galería Técnica beneath the Maria Cristina waterfalls, the Casa de la Prensa, the enigmatic Archive of the Museo de las Artes Escénicas, or the historic Palacio de las Artes Gráficas, where graphic design intertwines with archaeology. Also noteworthy are the hidden Masía in the Jardín Botánico, the majestic Palau Nacional, the iconic Torres Venecianas, and an inclusive experience at the Pabellón Mies van der Rohe, designed for people with visual impairments.
Places are limited and registration, via Eventbrite, opens on 26 May at 18:00. A unique opportunity to take a close look at what was always there… but never this close.
