Enfocats 2025: Community futures

This year, the focus turns to the Gothic Quarter, a place where past and present coexist constantly. Through exhibitions, urban routes, workshops and screenings, the festival proposes exploring memory as a living element, in permanent transformation, capable of connecting generations and projecting itself into the future.

The programme vindicates narratives arising from neighbourhood experience, highlighting stories of resistance, coexistence and belonging that often remain outside official accounts. In this context, Centre Cívic Pati Llimona pays special tribute to photographer Carme Garcia Padrosa, a resident of the Gothic Quarter and privileged witness to the neighbourhood’s evolution, through two exhibitions that recover her perspective on everyday life.

More than a celebration of photography and visual culture, Enfocats becomes a meeting space where shared memory helps us understand the present and imagine new ways of building community.
