Barceloneta Giants Gathering

The festivities programme begins at 17:00 with the «plantada» of giants at Moll de la Barceloneta, where these imposing figures are set up to begin the celebration. At 18:00, the parade sets off, travelling through the vibrant streets of the neighbourhood to the rhythm of traditional music and offering locals and visitors a unique cultural display.

The route culminates at 18:30 in Poeta Boscà Square. Here, the giants and their companions bring the square to life with a display of traditional dances, presenting every participating group in a festive, communal atmosphere. After this display of dances, the procession heads towards Moll de Pescadors, continuing the celebration under the Barceloneta sky.

This gathering is not only an opportunity to admire the impressive craftsmanship of the giants, but also to experience the cohesion and festive spirit that characterise Barceloneta and its residents.
