«Barcelona en moviment» Film Series

The event begins on 28 June, under the stars of Plaça de la Natura, with a screening of «Ocaña. Retrat intermitent», a 1978 work that explores the life of artist José Pérez Ocaña, highlighting his courage and the struggle of the LGTBI collective at a time of great social hostility.

The second night, on 5 July, brings us «El perqué de tot plegat», a film that adapts Quim Monzó’s ingenious stories into a humorous and often ironic introspection on the human condition.

The series concludes on 12 July with «Barcelona (un mapa)», an introspective 2007 vision of the Eixample, in which Pons unfolds a mosaic of urban lives and experiences, offering a profound portrait of the city and its inhabitants.

This film tribute not only honours the memory of Ventura Pons, but also invites attendees to reflect on the Barcelona of yesterday and today. Although admission is free, booking is required due to limited capacity, thus promising an intimate and enriching experience for lovers of cinema and culture.
