The talk series “What is the future of AI ethics?” proposes a collective reflection on one of the most urgent debates of our time. In a context where artificial intelligence is advancing rapidly and becoming integrated into increasingly sensitive areas of social life, these sessions invite us to consider what principles should guide its development and use.
About this event
At Palau Macaya, the series brings together leading European academics to analyse the challenges already appearing on the horizon: algorithmic biases, new forms of inequality, the reliability of systems, security and the protection of rights. Beyond familiar problems, the talks also explore questions that remain open or are barely regulated, those still hovering between speculation and political urgency.
Far from offering definitive answers, the series sets out ethical criteria and guiding frameworks intended to influence the public policies and technological practices of the future. A space to think calmly, from a humanistic and European perspective, about how we want artificial intelligence to integrate into society and what limits, responsibilities and values should accompany it.
