Yard Act Concert
Yard Act will return to Barcelona on 20 October to perform at Sala Apolo as part of Primavera Tours' programme. The Leeds band will bring its particular blend of punk, funk and post-punk back to the stage, built on taut rhythms, sharp guitars and lyrics laden with irony.
About this event
The group has made a place for itself on the British scene thanks to an approach that combines punk's direct energy with a danceable rhythmic base. Echoes of bands such as Talking Heads and The Fall can be found in their music, although Yard Act has developed a recognisable identity in which humour, social observation and movement coexist without too many rules.
The concert will offer the chance to experience that formula live in one of Barcelona's historic venues. The doors of Sala Apolo will open at 19:00 and the performance will begin at 20:30.
Under-16s must enter accompanied by their father, mother or legal guardian. Tickets may be purchased with the Bono Cultural Joven.
