Vísperas Musicales: “The Voices of the Earth”

Each evening builds a bridge between tradition, innovation and sonic revolution, showing how women’s voices have shaped the musical landscape over the centuries, in different places and languages.

The series begins on 10 July with Voxalba, a vocal ensemble offering a female a cappella journey, reclaiming the power of the unadorned voice. On 17 July, Carola Ortiz presents Cantereres, a delicate yet powerful exploration of the oral legacy of women who sang while they worked, cared or resisted. Finally, on 24 July, soprano Núria Rial will provide the finishing touch with À tre, a proposal that creates a dialogue between early repertoire and contemporary emotions.
