About this event
Pioneers of British punk and later key figures in the development of gothic rock, The Damned have spanned decades and styles without being confined to the era in which they emerged. The concert will revisit that journey with songs that defined their early years, including New Rose and Neat Neat Neat.
The anniversary also looks to the present. The band will bring material from Not Like Everybody Else, their recent covers album, to the stage, weaving it into a setlist built around different phases of their history.
The event at Razzmatazz will be a chance to explore five decades of The Damned without turning it into a static retrospective: the classics will be heard again alongside the musical choices the group continues to make today.
