Gilipojazz Concert
Gilipojazz’s live show does not fit entirely into any label, and that is part of its appeal. With the “Progresa Adecuadamente World Tour”, the band enters a new stage after appearing on stages such as the Jazz de Montreux Festival and touring half of Europe and Mexico.
About this event
The concert offers a journey through its two most recent works, ¿Dónde está el Jazz? (2022) and Progresa Adecuadamente (2024), but does not limit itself to reproducing them. Each performance makes room for improvisation, play and a sense of humour that runs through the entire show. Technique is present, but never as an end in itself.
On stage, the group combines musical precision with an attitude that breaks with the solemnity associated with jazz. The result is a dynamic live show, where the unexpected is part of the script and each piece can take a different direction.
More than a conventional concert, the proposal works as an open experience, aimed both at those who closely follow contemporary jazz and at those looking for something out of the ordinary. A space where music is taken seriously, but not too seriously.
