The climax of the concert will be «Francesca da Rimini», Piotr I. Tchaikovsky’s symphonic poem. Inspired by Dante’s tragic tale of condemned lovers, Tchaikovsky translates this story of forbidden love and fateful destiny into an emotionally charged orchestral expression.
