ELS40 Pop Nou Barris concert
ELS40 Pop Nou Barris arrives at the Fiesta Mayor de Nou Barris ready to turn Plaça Major into more than a stage: a meeting point where different generations and musical styles share one night. On Saturday 16 May, live music will take over the neighbourhood with a line-up combining established names and new voices beginning to make their way.
About this event
Artists such as Siderland, Roger Padrós, Ceaxe, Lau Gibert, Giadda, Aina Reig and SDP509 will take to the stage, in a programme that avoids confining itself to a single label and opts for diverse sounds and shared energy.
More than a succession of concerts, the proposal forms part of that neighbourhood ritual that makes a local festival recognisable: packed squares, songs sung along to without having been rehearsed and the feeling that, for a few hours, the city changes its rhythm.
With free admission, ELS40 Pop Nou Barris joins the celebration by bringing to its heart something as simple and as effective as a night of music to experience as a community.
