Concert “El conte de Nadal. Albert Guinovart”

This December, Gran Teatre del Liceu is transformed into a magical stage with the presentation of “El cuento de Navidad”, based on Charles Dickens’s classic work and featuring an original score by Albert Guinovart.

Albert Guinovart, recognised for his ability to evoke complex emotions through music, enriches this story with compositions that reflect the characters’ melancholy and transformation. Adding a visual and poetic dimension, sand drawings made by Borja González on a handmade light table synchronise with the music and text, creating live illustrations that bring the scenes and characters of the story to life.

Accompanied by VEUS - Cor Infantil Amics de la Unió and Gran Teatre del Liceu Orchestra, this concert promises to be a moving experience and an artistic celebration of the Christmas season. A show combining art, music and narrative in a unique interpretation of Dickens’s eternal message about compassion and personal transformation.
