Trained in piano from the age of five and drawn to electronic music in his adolescence, David August has followed a path from the club to the concert, from the beat to silence. His work — halfway between ambient, introspective techno and contemporary classical music — feels like a moving landscape: as organic as it is cerebral, as subtle as it is overwhelming.
He left DJ booths behind some time ago to focus on his live project, convinced that it is there, in absolute dedication to live performance, that music truly breathes. In Barcelona, he will present this personal sonic universe, in which emotion and form are sculpted note by note.
