Carlos Sarduy Trío concert

The Jamboree venue in Barcelona welcomes one of today’s great jazz talents: Carlos Sarduy and his Carlos Sarduy Trío, a group that combines the language of modern jazz with the deepest roots of Afro-Cuban music, flamenco and popular tradition.

Sarduy, considered one of the most versatile trumpeters of his generation, has worked alongside legends such as Chucho y Bebo Valdés, Esperanza Spalding and Ojos de Brujo, and has taken part in more than 50 records internationally. His style stands out for its expressive power, rhythmic sense and ability to improvise.
