Concert «Candlelight: Tribute to Ed Sheeran»

Pieces such as «Perfect», «Thinking Out Loud» and «Shape of You» take on another texture when they pass through the filter of classical arrangements. The rhythm is held back, the melodies stretch out and what was immediate becomes more introspective. The programme covers different moments in his career, including «Bad Habits», «Photograph», «Shivers» and «The A Team», in versions that prioritise detail over impact.

The performance is given by the Manfred Quartet, which carries these songs into an instrumental language without losing their essence.

More than a tribute concert, the proposal works as a reinterpretation: a way of listening again to what is already known, from another place and at another tempo.
