Concert «Candlelight: Mozart, Bach, and more composers»

The Barcelona Quartet will perform a journey that begins with Vivaldi’s Spring and passes through the prelude to Bach’s Cello Suite No. 1, Mozart’s Eine kleine Nachtmusik and Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony. Pieces by Tchaikovsky, Brahms, Liszt, Verdi, Bizet, Debussy, Ravel and Rachmaninoff will also be heard.

The concert invites listeners to hear these works in an unusual setting: the Gaudí Crypt, where architecture and candlelight accompany an approximately hour-long string performance.

Candlelight: Mozart, Bach, and more composers is recommended for ages 8 and over; under-16s must attend accompanied by an adult. Doors open 30 minutes beforehand and entry is not permitted once the concert has started.
