Barcelona adds a new cardinal point to its cultural map: laMercedes, the former Mercedes-Benz factory in Sant Andreu, is reborn as a performance space with an industrial soul, where design and acoustics align to shape unique experiences. And it could not have a more powerful christening: next Sunday 21 September, this brand-new venue will be transformed into a large dance floor for the first electronic party organised by Primavera Sound in collaboration with Nitsa Club.

At the helm of this seven-hour day of unrestrained techno will be Amelie Lens, one of the most influential DJs on the global circuit. With her distinctive hypnotic pulse, her sets are pure propulsive energy, an acid rush that turns every session into a collective rite. After her appearance at Primavera Sound 2025, the Belgian producer returns to the city to make history in a space that promises to become a landmark.
Under the Primavera Bits umbrella, this party will be only the beginning of what looks set to be a new era for electronic music in Barcelona. A daytime rave that will stretch into the night, with more names yet to be announced and one clear promise: music is here to stay at laMercedes.
