«Respira» morning breathwork sessions at Casa Batlló

Respira turns Tuesday and Thursday mornings into a different experience: a slow, conscious awakening accompanied by the living architecture of Casa Batlló. Between 8:30 and 8:45, before the city picks up pace, Gaudí’s building opens its doors to those looking to start the day from a different place, with a breathwork session guided by facilitators selected by The Festival of Consciousness.

About this event

The proposal is simple in appearance: stop and breathe. But doing so in a space where every curve, light and texture invites calm changes the nature of the gesture. Casa Batlló functions here as a small urban refuge, a setting where beauty helps ease tensions and sharpen inner attention.

The programme brings together national and international facilitators — including Abel Jalal, Àlex Miró, Francesca Rubinato, Indri Tulusan, Kati Sauter, Lidia Casas, Lottie Heffer, Ricardo Pantano, Sabina Salta and Uri Imperial — who lead activities designed for those who want to begin the day with clarity and presence.

The sessions, open to those aged 13 and over, invite participants to turn dawn into a ritual: a brief but sufficient space to reconnect before returning to the usual pace. At Respira, practice and architecture meet to remind us of something essential: that a good day begins, literally, with a good breath.
